Once I understand the level you are studying at and what topics we need to cover, I will then set out a detailed plan and order of teaching for all the topics we need to cover. Lessons will mainly be focused on working through problems together and then you/your child going away and doing around an hour of homework based on the topic covered in class and also a question or two in preparation for next weeks topic, which we will review and use at the start of every session.

I will strive to not only help you with exam technique and how to answer questions in a test, but to also help you understand the Maths behind questions so you can apply your knowledge to other similar questions (i.e not just rote learning things).

I will be a good tutor for you/your child as I am very experienced in maths, with my Grade 9 at GCSE and predicted A*A* in Maths and Further Maths at alevel (predicted to achieve 4A* in total by the end of year 13).
So I will use my experience to develop your understanding while teaching you the smartest, quickest and easiest way of answering questions. And the fact I am still studying and only in Y12 means all this content is very fresh in my mind and I understand how best to do well in exams.
