I like to base lessons around what students are interested in, as well as what skills they are looking to develop. Lessons vary in content and delivery style depending on what is required and in order to keep the teaching fresh. Much of the teaching material I use is from Cambridge University Press, so is high quality and well researched. I enjoy conversation and connecting with the student on a variety of topics. I'm Cambridge-educated and have a CELTA (Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults) qualification. While the content provided is of high-quality, I don't expect perfection, as fluency is often more important then getting every detail right every time! So please don't feel shy about speaking, writing, reading or listening - just give it a go and we will work it out together if it's not quite right. I look forward to connecting with you - helping you to feel empowered in your use and understanding of the English language and culture. It's always a learning journey for me too! Primarily teaching online, though if you happen to be local, I can teach in person.
