I have provided support to first and second year university students while completing my degrees. As each person is different, I like to work with each person to understand how they learn best and what works for them to achieve their goals. Personally, for psychology I think learning case studies and examples for the different theories is one of the best ways to increase understanding and make things stick in your memory! Creating packs (mind-maps, key terms, example answers) for each topic is another good method to solidify understanding.
