My teaching method is constructivist; I will guide you, but I want you to feel agency in your development. Depending on your stage of learning, lessons will be tailored towards your current needs. As we will be learning in an online environment, my resources will be digital, but this will give us the perfect opportunity to work through Google Docs, and online sites, and collaborate throughout your lesson. Unlike in-school classes, we will have much more flexibility to move through the work at a rate that suits you i.e. we can easily revisit content if you feel a bit rusty, or if you need to stick with an area of focus then we can adjust!

I believe learning is built based on our current understanding of the world from which we develop. Therefore, in lessons I want you to be able to express your perspectives, beliefs, etc., all to help develop you as a communicator. What we can articulate in words becomes easier to transfer to our written work. Critical thinking is one of the most heralded skills in the modern world, so you should come to class curious and ready to inspect topics and themes.

My experience in teaching includes 4 years working with in an international setting (Brazil) where I have taught an American high school programme and was then following by teaching in a state school in the UK so I have a great understanding of nurturing young people in to well-rounded and employable beings!
