Finn Risdon

Bonjour!

I’m Finn, a current undergraduate of French at the University of Bristol. I recently achieved an A* in both French A Level and GCSE, and I bring additional experience from working at a French radio station and participating in study placements in France. I’m passionate about all things French and eager to help you achieve your language goals!

What I Offer:

GCSE and A Level Tutoring:
My lessons are exam-focused and tailored to help you excel in your studies. Having recently gone through the education system myself, I know the challenges students face and have practical tips and tricks to share—whether it’s mnemonics to improve your writing, rhymes to master verb conjugations, or targeted practice in grammar, vocabulary, spelling, speaking, and pronunciation.

Independent Learners:
Whether you’re learning French for travel, work, or personal connections, my lessons are designed around your goals. I focus on building your confidence and fluency through engaging, relaxed, and non-judgmental sessions. In my experience, many learners underestimate their abilities—my goal is to help you realize your potential and communicate with ease.
