My teaching method focuses largely on Task-Based Learning. Staring a lesson off by introducing new vocabulary, grammar or pronunciation. Then I implement the new topic into a controlled exercise where I will help the students correct any mistakes they make along the way. Finally, there will be a task where the student is given free rein in an exercise without guided help. I target skills such as speech, listening and writing during lessons. Self-correction is also a huge part of the lesson where at the end of the lesson we will focus on pronunciation, vocabulary and any grammar mistakes made during the lesson.

I have a Bachelor's degree in English from Trinity College Dublin and a level 5 TEFL degree. My experience includes teaching at English summer schools, teaching English as a second language to students.
