My lessons will be as interactive and informal as possible. My students will be entering a safe environment where they shouldn't feel any pressure to know or do anything out of their comfort zone. Of course, I'm here to push my students to the best of their ability but I also realise that pressuring and pushing them isn't the way forward. I consider more than just their academic ablilities, I take interest in who they are as a person and their hobbies so they feel I'm more of a friend than a 'tutor'. I don't want my students to dread coming to my lessons, I want them to be excited to learn, as it's such an amazing thing that not all people get to do to this level!
I'm here to get the best out of my students, by also checking in on their mental and physical health whilst being someone to talk to along with learning from. I want to learn from my students as well as teaching them.
The lessons won't be too content heavy as I want my students to be able to understand topics to the best of their ability without being overloaded with an unrealistic amount of information.
Homework won't be given out often, only if I feel it would be somewhat beneficial as I understand that my students have been in school all day and probably have homework to do for that.
There will never be a dull moment in my lessons, only fun and learning! You won't regret having me as a tutor, I can guarantee you!
