As an experienced German tutor with experience getting students through GCSEs and their A level studies, I can provide private lessons that are adapted to suit the specific needs of particular students. I aim to improve students’ confidence in grammar, speaking, and vocabulary and follow the AQA and Edexcel curriculum closely.

As a near-native speaker of German, I will also give cultural insight into the country of Germany as well as give insight into the different dialects of German. As I have a near-native German accent I will be able to provide an excellent model for pronunciation as well as provide insight into common German idioms and current affairs, knowledge needed especially for A level tutoring.

I offer the first lesson for free and this lesson will be used to establish what areas of study to concentrate on as well as to get an initial taster of what is to come.

To inform the content of lessons, I like to ask for specific details of where the student is in the curriculum as well as to establish which skills need improvement.
