Owing to my Master's degree in English Language Teaching, CELTA (Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and extensive experience in teaching the English Language, IELTS AND TOEFL exams abroad (London, Turkey, Italy), I can say wholeheartedly that teaching for me is more than a profession. It is my passion that I live with it every single day. Through it, I am able to meet people with different cultures and languages. This is tremendously important to me because it makes me an open-minded person and a better educator. When I went to Italy a few years ago, I visited two of the most beautiful places Venice and Verona and my dream came true when I visited the House of Romeo and Juliet and saw the sculpture of William Shakespeare. Awhile I was completely lost in my literary thoughts and remembered all the outstanding works of William Shakespeare. He was one of the greatest writers in English Language and my favourite author as well. His works taught me a lot about love which overpowers hate through the unique infatuated passion between Romeo and Juliet.
Working with kids is like dancing the best move ever. They are the most unspoiled creatures on this planet. Yet, you should have patience, natural love and passion for teaching kids. I have been teaching children for over ten years now and working with them is the best feeling ever. Seeing their smiles and curiosity every day makes me feel even more warm-hearted and brings me positive energy. I wholeheartedly believe that teaching in general comes from the heart and if you don't have it inside of you, you can't make it as your profession.
Teaching students worldwide has been one of the best experiences of my career. Through these years, not only have I come across to know many potential students, but also, I have become more aware of different cultures and their different ways of learning and understanding English. I have used different methods and techniques such as “Total physical response,” “Communicative language teaching,” “The Audio-lingual method” and, fortunately, I succeeded in all of them. Moreover, you don’t only teach English to these students, you also learn a lot from them. This comes as a result of teacher student interaction, which is one of the most crucial aspects in teaching.
Finally, I firmly believe that the biggest success for educators is if they achieve their goals to make their students inspired, motivated and vivacious, because these are the main foundations that make every person successful in life.
