Felix Bowers

Hi I'm Felix, a palaeontology student experienced at tutoring A level Biology and Geology!
I focus on talking through past paper questions, with segways to content that interests the student or that need more support. I highly encourage my students to message me throughout the week with any questions, which we will adress and go over for the first 10 minuites of every session. I aim to cover most variants on questions that could come up by the time exams come around.
I frequently set work that encourages my students to apply the syllabus to case studies that interest them. Not only does this make for more engaging lessons, but it refines critical thinking skills that are necessary to achive high grades in biology exams.
I have a thorough understanding of the difficulties faced by neurodivergent students and I will work closely with parents of such students to ensure the support is appropriate (primaraly Dyslexia, ADHD, Aspergers, and Autism). I have had great success with many students who traditional classrooms do not offer the close support necessary. I also offer revision skills sessions for students that need to refine their tecniques for the transition from GCSE to A levels, and from A levels to University study.
