I start off by asking my students their strengths and weaknesses and make custom tests for them to see how they answer and then find specific pieces of content to teach them. This enables them to have stronger recall. I also teach top tips like flash cards and other methods I found useful. I also find key parts of the specification that hasn’t been used yet and quiz my students on them. I also find commonly asked questions and create similar questions to them as they may be potentially asked. Moreover I check in with my students to make sure they’re comfortable and understanding about the topic as that’s most important. I also discuss with parents any particular struggles their child is facing and how we can overcome them. I also would teach exam strategies to aid my students in their examinations. I think that having a cohesive attitude towards exams is important as being calm and collected lets you focus on the questions .
