My lessons will be prepared ahead of our lesson using a set structure where exercises will be completed individually and together in each lesson. Over the course of our time together I will be able to tailor each lesson to the learner’s needs and can offer textbook-style lessons and presentations as well as interactive, conversational lessons based on the level and experience with the language that the learner has. Unless requested by the learner, homework will be minimal as I appreciate that a lot of learners will have other commitments, however, I will always provide optional exercises that may be completed outwith our lesson for those who are keen, and from time to time will give a small amount of compulsory homework so the learner can keep in touch with the language between lessons.
I can offer in-person or online lessons Mon-Fri but will consider weekend lessons if necessary to suit the learner’s schedule.

Recently, my experience lies primarily in retail. However, I do have experience working with young children as I have completed a short placement at a nursery, and I have also volunteered for Girl-Guiding groups (Rainbows, Brownies & Guides) for girls aged 4-11 years. As well as this I have experience running a languages group during my years at high school which I self-started along with some classmates where we offered Italian, Spanish and French, as well as Korean, to the younger year groups.
I have also completed two Linguistics courses at the University of Edinburgh which included a course on child bilingualism and acquiring language, and am currently studying Psychology at the University of Dundee.
