I enjoy mathematics and the thought process behind it and hope to share this interest with my students.
I have past experience teaching 3 students at GCSE level all of which achieved top grades. Sessions will consist of lessons and problems prepared in advance based on the student’s needs and goals.

I understand the importance of confidence in the subject which is why I try to create a laid back, informal atmosphere where the student feel comfortable trying things out, understanding their mistakes and learning from them.
When working through problems I will be there to guide them in the right direction giving them hints and explanations when needed and challenging their understanding along the way. This way of learning allows the student to improve much faster than they would at school.
I can teach at the student’s house or online where the use of a pen pad will make writing and showing work as fast and easy as it is when teaching face to face.

I hope to help my students reach their goals and for them to enjoy the process while doing so.
