I will help students improve their grades and develop an intuitive understanding of the subject. Liking a particular topic is an incredible booster to a student's dedication to studying; I will incorporate their interests to help the student engage in the subject and work toward a greater appreciation of it. Together we will review homework, schoolwork, tests, and quizzes to identify the areas where the student can grow and improve their understanding, and as my understanding of the student's learning styles increases, I will develop tailored problems and worksheets for them to solve.

In my experience, one of the biggest factors in a student's performance in school is their confidence toward their own abilities. My lessons will not only focus on teaching topics they are struggling with, but also reinforce the ones they are comfortable with to develop a strong basis for dexterity in the subject as a whole. I have seen too many of my peers in school have all the necessary knowledge, but struggle because they lacked the confidence to express the knowledge they knew they possessed. Low grades can be discouraging, so intervening and managing that stress can be a serious boost in the expression of their abilities.

I will supplement their learning with extracurricular media that has helped me gain a greater liking for the subject and that has improved my understanding when I was in school. Knowledge cannot only be about what is needed for an assessment or an exam, it must also include topics that can broaden the understanding of why a subject is useful and interesting, which are not necessarily taught in curriculums.
