My name is Federica, I'm Italian, but I've been living in London for 7 years.
I started to teach Italian as a foreign language more than three years ago and I love it! I got my certificate to teach Italian as foreign language from Università per Stranieri di Siena, after attending a school in London, where I had the opportunity to meet a lot of other Italian teachers and to do my internship. All of my students are from beginner to upper intermediate level. I teach them how to go deep into the language to understand it, to build a support system rather than only memorize it.
We use English as common language when we need to. I can speak Spanish as well.
I use Google Drive to share documents and other useful links and to correct or talk about homework with my students: in this way we don't have to use our lessons for that (only when we need). Depending on your goal with the Italian, I will set up a programme for you (reading, speaking, listening and writing need to be tailored to everyone).
I like to motivate my students with video and short movies.
I'm passionate about Modern and Classical Languages (Latin and Classical Greek studies for 5 years in Italy).
I took a degree in Law and I used to work as lawyer before deciding to become an Italian teacher.
My hobbies are cooking, travelling and reading and I put all these elements in my lessons.
