I am Federica and I am an Italian teacher from Milan, Italy.
From the moment I learned to read, it was immediately clear to me what I liked to do and what would be the passions that would mark my path: I studied and delved into anything having to do with language and writing. I graduated in Modern Literature with a thesis on eighteenth-century travel literature, I worked as an editor, copywriter and travel journalist and then specialized with the Promoitals Master in teaching Italian language and culture to foreign students.
I have been working for two years as a teacher of Italian for foreigners, in-person and online, with both children and adults. I worked as an intern in Copenhagen at Københavns Universitet, tutored some children with migration backgrounds in Italy, and work in an Italian school for adults. I follow a communicative method that makes learning engaging and fun, but I do not leave out the explanation of grammar when necessary to create a solid foundation and give more confidence to the student. I try to include as much as possible elements of interest that coincide with the student's passions using creative and original materials (I also do Italian lessons around the city of Milan when possible).
I hope I can convey all my enthusiasm to my students. I am an extremely curious person, always open to new experiences and interests, and I look forward to discovering a lot of new things as I teach.
