I am a native Italian speaker with several years of experience in tutoring and a solid background in linguistics and literature. My previous roles, as private tutor, language teacher in a charity, and University mentor, have equipped me with the skills necessary to effectively communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner, tailoring my teaching style to meet the unique needs of each student. Specifically, I leverage a combination of traditional teaching methods and innovative online resources to make the learning experience both enjoyable and effective. My lessons include Kahoots, treasure hunts, and several fun icebreakers, as well as more traditional styles of delivery. I am fluent in English and several other languages, thus allowing my job as a tutor to never be impeded by language barriers with my students. Outside of the classroom, I love reading, practicing yoga, and travelling; these passions have given me several skills which have enriched my role as a tutor, such as patience, empathy, curiosity for other cultures and a keen attention to detail.
