I have some basic teaching experience as I have taken a TEFL course. As part of this course, I was trained on how to appropriately plan and structure lessons. I would use the same structure for all my lessons then I can adapt this based on any needs or preferences you may have. If you let me know what content you would need covering in the lesson, I can plan the lesson according to this. Please see my lesson structure below:

Warmer:
This will be a basic activity to understand your knowledge of the subject so far. This will usually be a discussion task that will not take longer than 5/10 minutes to complete and will lead into the main body of the lesson.

Body:
In the body of the lesson, I will spend covering subject knowledge. The majority of the body of the lesson will include historical context, delivered to you on a PowerPoint which can be screen shared with you. I will also include source analysis and begin teaching you how to build a critical analysis of sources and I can do some essay planning if you’d like. I can produce a variety of different work sheets to cater to your needs and to help your knowledge and understanding of the subject matter.

Finisher:
In the finisher of the lesson, we will recap everything with one final exercise which will also be discussion based. I can set a small homework type task if you would prefer this but this isn’t crucial.
