Bonjour ! My name is Faye, and I’m currently studying English and French at Queen’s University Belfast. I offer fun, flexible, and engaging French lessons tailored to your goals—whether you’re a beginner learning the basics or looking to build confidence in speaking and grammar.

My lessons are structured but relaxed. I usually begin with a short conversation warm-up to get you thinking in French, followed by targeted grammar or vocabulary activities. I incorporate listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills into each session, using real-life materials like music, videos, articles, and everyday scenarios. This keeps lessons dynamic, culturally rich, and closely tied to how the language is actually used.

I have experience teaching and working with learners of all ages from my time as a swimming instructor and in hospitality roles. These experiences helped me become an adaptable, patient, and encouraging teacher who understands that everyone learns differently. Whether you’re preparing for an exam, brushing up your conversational skills, or learning for fun, I’ll adapt each lesson to suit your pace and interests.

I also speak Spanish and love learning languages myself, so I know how rewarding—and sometimes challenging—the process can be. I aim to create a positive learning environment where you feel supported, motivated, and confident enough to make mistakes and grow.
