Favour Adejimi

Apart from general administrative duties, I have nearly a decade of experience in paralegal work that ranges from drafting and amending business contracts to managing my own caseload, prioritising cases, consulting with clients and supporting solicitors. In one of my previous roles, I often mediated between divorcing couples to help them achieve amicable settlements which smoothened the process for them. This in turn afforded me a high success rate in explaining legal terms and processes to clients in high pressure situations while ensuring the the standard of work was not compromised. My easy, interactive, relatable and timely approach provided clients with the confidence they needed to bring repeat business to the firm. These qualities were spilled over to the firm appointing me as their representative in BNI(the world’s largest business networking organisation) for a year before pursuing my Master’s Degree.

In the past one year, I have studied the GDPR's data governance strategy, practices and requirements for companies in the UK and EU as well as the the practice and application of IP Law in the UK as this was what my LLM was concentrated on.

My current role, which is a client facing role, involves me supporting 2 directors in the drafting of pre and post completion documentation as well as assisting with contractual amendments and other needs as required by the business.

My teaching approach will be an initial consultation to get to know you more and which area of law you currently need assistance in. We will then proceed to discussing what it is you understand about that particular subject/module and we will then draw up a teaching plan together. We will also do a review after each lesson to ensure you have grasped the content of the module.
