I prepare the lesson in advance so it meets the needs of any student after a short chat about the weaknesses and what do they want me to teach. I use Power Point. I use both languages: Arabic and English to explain the lesson or one language if the student wants mono language. I use the internet as well as an additional support for understanding.

When I started my teaching English language as an additional language in some countries, I found out that some students need to speak English or Arabic in their academic study or at work so I started to change my method of teaching according to their needs. Do not hesitate if you are a beginner as my job is take you to be in an advanced level.
