Any format the student is happy with. And if they are unsure then I’d look at basic knowledge and take it from there.

When basics are right everything becomes more easier. I can revise them with you. Start with topics that are easiest as that boosts confidence.

Personally how I take more complex topics is by knowing where I’m struggling first, and why, once that’s resolved it’s all good.
