About me

I have a First Class Honours degree in Psychology BSc. This included the completion of an extensive research project investigating factors that influence students’ achievement. Therefore, I have extensive knowledge on strategies to support achievement. I am currently a primary school teaching assistant where I work with individual children/students and groups. I have a First Class Honours degree in Psychology BSc. This included the completion of an extensive research project investigating factors that influence students’ achievement. Therefore, I have extensive knowledge on strategies to support achievement. I am currently a primary school teaching assistant where I work with individual children/students and groups. This includes introducing tasks, monitoring children’s work and using a range of strategies to support their learning. I am able to observe pupils’ performance, and use the systems in place in the school/class to provide the teacher with feedback on pupil progress and help maintain individual and group records. I also help prepare and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment for learning.
