I am a flexible, patient and friendly tutor able to tailor the learning experience based on what the learning style and academic level is of the student. We will go over topics and practice questions together in a paced manner that will engage the student. My lessons are there to help with the specific areas that the student struggles in or wants to reinforce, and will closely follow what the student has already covered with reinforcements and extra practice, as well as plenty of examples to help consolidate understanding of topics.

I have 1+ years of experience in tutoring students of a wide range of academic ability and have previously used the exam-board specifications directly to help GCSE and pre-GCSE students prepare for their exams and engage with the relevant content. I use plenty of online resources that students can then continue on with in their own time (outside practice is encouraged and provided in my lessons), however sometimes I will also write and provide my own questions and answers to help tailor the practice to that which with the student is struggling.

Furthermore, as I am currently in university, I am more than happy to give advice and insights on studying a science at university or university applications for those students who are interested. I have experience in conducting mock university interviews for universities such as Oxbridge and Imperial, and have also provided support in writing personal statements for STEM subjects, so I am happy to provide this kind of support as well.
