I have four plus years of teaching experience in subjects such as psychology, sociology and English. I have taught GCSE and A-level students catering my lesson plans to fit their personal needs. As well as a EFL teacher ranging from A2-C1 levels and preparing students for exams. Working with the student to list their work and areas for improvement, creating a student tailored lesson plan that is flexible as they continue to learn. Utilising powerpoint slides, quizzes and quick fire questions to create a fun and interactive lesson. Assigning homework if wanted and going through exam prep and essay structure. Offering multiple ways of comprehending information and varied techniques in effective essay structure so that the student can decide what fits best for them. Building a rapport to undertand what they like so that I can intertwine it into lesson content as this increases involvement. Collaborating my work with what they are taught in school so that there is coherency in information. Adapting my lesson and asking the student what they like or dislike so that I can provide the best teaching support possible. Resources are created to further help students undertand theories and provide a framework for their learning. I belive a combination of this will result in success for the student. My extensive background in teaching and my passion for education shines throughout my lessons. Ultimately my lessons are engaging, student focused and aimed on getting the best grade while enjoying education.
