I have been working with children in educational settings since 2015. I have supported children in a various Primary Schools, assisting children of all needs and abilities, including those with special educational needs.
I am bilingual as I can speak, read and write both English and Urdu. I have also taught Urdu to children aged Another language I have taught is Arabic but I can only understand and speak basic Arabic, although I can read and write this language too.
I have taught many lessons in reading the Quran with the correct tajweed, ensuring each letter is articulated correctly. I also teach Quran translation, in which learners can study each word of the Quran to understand the revelations and connect more deeply with the verses.
I have also organised and carried out workshops for students to reach a better understanding on topics such as salah (prayer) etc. I have made a comprehensive curriculum for my students incorporating all the essential topics and also room for students to express their own interests and study them further under guidance. The lessons are very learner focussed and each student will have their own timetable based on their needs and abilities. If a learner is interested in gathering further information on any topic, this will be done and linked back to the Quran and Sahih Hadith.
