I’m often able to pick up the ways in which students are best able to understand information through their interaction when teaching. As a result of this, I initially try various techniques to get students to engage to understand what best suits them.

For example, if I find a student is a more visual learner, I try to create as many visual learning techniques throughout tutoring them. I treat each student as an individual, taking the time to learn and understand them so I know what is best for their learning when teaching them.

I also take the time to learn and understand each student, ensuring they are also able to learn and understand from me. It is important to me that after every session, it feels fulfilling to both the student and I.

Tutoring and teaching English is something I have been passionate about for many years; it is a subject I had always put a lot of hard work and dedication into throughout my primary and secondary education. To be able to teach a language which I am so fascinated by, gives me the opportunity to share the same passion I have for the subject with others.

I believe you have to love something in order to truly enjoy it. I also believe if you do not enjoy something, you will never be able to reach your full capability. This is why it’s important to me to help each student love what they do.
