With a strong foundation in law, demonstrated by earning a 2.1 in my undergraduate degree and securing a scholarship to university, I am a diligent and hardworking individual with a deep passion for both learning and teaching. Throughout my studies, I frequently tutored friends and family, honing my skills in simplifying complex legal concepts across various areas, including criminal law, medical law, and contract law. My ability to break down challenging material and teach exam techniques, essay structures, and fluency has been well-received, leading me to formalize my tutoring practice. As the President of the BAME Women Society, I’ve developed excellent communication skills, often leading meetings and delivering ideas with clarity and precision. Additionally, my experience as a youth group leader, where I taught detailed aspects of the Bible and made them accessible to others, further showcases my ability to make complex information relatable. Currently pursuing Bar Vocational Studies and an LLM, I am well-placed to guide students, understanding their needs and offering support that bridges the gap often left by traditional lecturers. My experiences, combined with my aspirations to become a barrister, equip me to be an effective and relatable law tutor.
