I have recently graduated from University of Westminster with an English Literature and language degree and achieved a 2:1.

Whilst I was in my second year of university, I've decided to gain some experience in the secondary field, so I joined the English department at St Thomas More Catholic School, as an volunteer teaching assistant for 3 months and gained lots of experiences of working with students from year 7 to year 13, helping them with their revision and class work. Working with them one to one and advising them about revision techniques and helping them choose their right career paths. During this secondary experience it allowed me to see the difference in the relationship with adults and children of different ages.

During February and March 2020, I have joined an agency called Horizon Teachers and they provided me with temporary work across many primary schools across London. I've worked in a nursery with autistic children. This was an eye opening experience for me as Autistic children need more assistance and more guidance as they cannot communicate as well as other children, so identifying their needs is crucial. This allowed me to utilise different learning styles and needs.
