My lessons are designed for GCSE and A-level students in Mathematics and Statistics, with a focus on building strong foundational skills and achieving academic excellence. Each session is 1 hour long and carefully structured into three components: theory, problem-solving, and exam practice. This balanced approach ensures students gain a thorough understanding of the material while developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for exam success.
With over a year of experience teaching university-level Statistics courses, I bring advanced subject knowledge and effective teaching methods to every lesson. My student-centred approach encourages active participation, fosters critical thinking, and simplifies complex topics into manageable steps. This ensures students not only grasp challenging concepts but also build confidence in applying their knowledge effectively.
I am currently pursuing a PhD in Statistics, supported by two master’s degrees in applied mathematics and a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science. These qualifications reflect my strong academic background, passion for education, and commitment to helping students succeed.
Having achieved 5 A* at A-levels, including Mathematics and Further Mathematics, I understand the high standards and challenges students face. My lessons are tailored to each student’s unique needs, providing personalized guidance and strategies to help them excel academically.
With extensive tutoring experience, I deliver clear, focused, and impactful lessons that foster confidence, ensure mastery of key concepts, and drive academic success. My ultimate goal is to inspire students not only to excel in exams but also to develop a lifelong appreciation for Mathematics and Statistics, empowering them to reach their full potential.
