I have several years of experience working with individuals from age 5 to 16 across various educational settings, from mainstream schools that adhere to AQA and Edexcel curriculums, as well as specialist colleges for those with learning disabilities. Considering the nature of my higher education qualifications (First Class Masters in Creative Writing and a BA in English and Philosophy, 2:1), I am here to support those in want of tutoring for the following subjects: English Literature, creative writing, copywriting and SEO tips and tricks, lyric writing, and poetry.

As a musician, vocalist, and former radio show host for a literary radio show, I have a marrow-deep love of narrative and the power of language to inspire, engage, entertain, and spark philosophical enquiry. If you are struggling to be enthused by the likes of Chaucer or Shakespeare, I can always offer a critical approach to modern wordsmiths. We can, for instance, look at the lyrics penned by your favourite artists and find out what makes their use of language so impactful for you and then apply these principals to your schools' syllabus.

I am a playful, enthusiastic, empathetic, organised, and fiercely creative person that approaches the teaching process in a highly person-centered way. I will put together a unique programme taking into account each your goals, interests, and level of comprehension.

I have over five years of experience working with neurodiverse individuals (ADHD, autism, Tourettes, and various developmental conditions) as well as those that struggle with their mental health. As someone with ADHD, I am aware of and have a lived experience of how to structure educational programmes to bring out the best in an individual given their unique mind and interests.

I will structure the lessons with a clear set of objectives in mind (established from our initial meeting) so that there is a sense of forward momentum, enabling you to meet your goals. Most importantly, I will make the teaching process fun for you!
