Hi! Or should I say ??!I’m Evie, I study Chinese Studies at Newcastle University, but currently I am undergoing a language program at Hainan University, China.

I am conversationally able when it comes to my Chinese proficiency. Throughout my lessons I want to provide beginner students with a basis for their future in learning the language. Our lessons will initially focus on the topics of Greetings, Numbers, Daily Life etc. Having studied Chinese for 4 years, I myself have realised that knowing the basics really makes all the difference in the progress you will make when learning a new language.

Within my lessons, I hope to provide a personal and individual learning experience that is tailored to ensuring your learning progresses continuously. We can do a range of speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities to ensure that your language skills develop equally. Having done this process myself, and now living in China, I am aware of the importance of developing all of these skills at once!
