As a current LLB Law student at a Russell Group university - University of Birmingham, I have a strong foundation in legal principles demonstrated by my 1 class and upper second-class grades achieved in my first year of university and A* result in Law A-level. My experience as a Law Ambassador has developed my ability to communicate principles clearly, in manageable pieces. As a student who has not long completed law exams I understand the exam techniques examiners are looking for, the best methods to use to achieve high grades and a fresh approach to learning material.
The format of the lessons are bespoke to a student’s needs. I am happy to take more of a lecturing approach, running through content and cases or a more interactive format, helping students to work through exam questions and essay plans to help prepare you for exams, or a blend of the two! An informal and welcoming approach is taken throughout the lesson, creating an open space for questions or queries to ensure the help is effective. Lessons can be weekly, fortnightly or ad hoc, open to all. The content of the lessons can include topics within criminal, contract, tort, public, the legal system, law making the nature of law or decolonising legal concepts- all of which I have studied at A level and in my first year of my LLB degree.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions about the content I can teach or the format of the lessons!
