Each session will start with an explanation of the content for that day, before moving on to practice. All of my experience in education has shown me that practice is the best way to learn, so we will spend our time working through examples, discussing how we arrived at the answers, and then trying out questions of our own.
The sessions each come with a PowerPoint presentation and question booklet which will be available to the students before the session, but am aware that not every student learns in the same way, so am very happy and able to alter the structure of the sessions to suit every individual person. Before we have our first session I'll send you out an email with some questions about the students learning style so we can work out what strategies will be best.
I am currently pursuing a master's degree in finance and accounting, and I already have my bachelor's degree in civil engineering. Aside from this, I have A-Levels in Maths, Physics, and Psychology. These qualifications have allowed me to develop a really strong maths knowledge which I am passionate about passing on to other students.
I have been tutoring younger students since I was 12 so I understand that no two students are the same. I also know that a lot of people aren't huge fans of maths, so all of my sessions are completely non-judgemental.
