ABOUT ME:
I'm a University student and part time illustrator, running my independent shop and commissions. I draw both traditionally and digitally and specialise in characters and portraits. I passed with an 8 in GCSE Art-Graphics (topic - buildings and architecture), A* in A-Level Graphics and A in Photography. My main goal is for students to see how far they have come and enjoy art and their lessons, no matter if all they want is to pass or to get that A*.
My lessons are separated into 3 categories: PRACTICAL, THEORY, PERSONAL GROWTH. Lessons will be ONLINE ONLY with either my video camera on, presentation/screen sharing or link-sharing. For these lessons to take place I’d have to know if you’re a GCSE/A-Level student (optional - exam board) or if you just simply wish to enhance your art experience.
Practical: Learning art basics and fundamentals, walking through and applying that to homework, helping with ideas for pieces. Physically drawing traditionally or digitally (I can draw with you, real time).
Theory: Annotation, essay writing (visual analysis), focusing on themes set by exam boards and how to gain those points. Research - book recommendations, articles, videos and artist recommendations.
Personal Growth: Marketing, getting your work out there, setting up commissions and a shop to sell your work. Approaching new places with a portfolio or potential art to sell. Understanding apps and how to gain from them - TikTok, Instagram.
My Calling Options: Skype, Zoom, Discord
I am absolutely free to discuss University life as an art student, potential options for the future or even simple living as an artist! Whatever is most comfortable for you, I try to make me sessions easy going and relaxing.
