While my professional career is now based in working with collections in museums, I have also worked in Art Colleges in the past (UAL) where I coordinated short courses. This experience, as well as my own academic background, provided me with rich experience of teaching and learning art.

I am happy to discuss preferred teaching and learning methods and personalise sessions. However, I would like to mix “lecture” - style content (with lots of dynamic images to keep it engaging !) with freer and more collaborative discussion of themes, ideas and approaches, and finally some sharing and critique of your own writing.

I am only offering my tutoring services remotely, so students would need to be happy to use Zoom or a similar programme.

My key focus would be to help YOU be inspired and engaged in the history of art and design, and so happy to take a free and relaxed approach to follow your interests!
