I like to create a friendly and warm environment for my student, in which they can feel comfortable to ask any questions or raise any queries.
In my 3 years of tutoring I have conducted both online and in person sessions, using a variation of techniques to help my students achieve the grades they truly deserve, and are capable of. These include simply talking the subject over, which I believe can be supremely helpful to improve confidence, going over work provided by the school; giving them any help they need while also encouraging them to find the answers themselves, and finally going over exercises set myself.

In regards to essay subjects such as English (Language and Literature) and History, I think understanding structure is the key component. Therefore, I work closely with my students to ensure they are able to improve this skill over our sessions.

In regards to my own academics, I achieved all A's and A*'s in my GCSE's and A-Levels, despite having dyslexia which I was able to work with to do well in maths, which I at first found very challenging. I studies History, Philosophy and Ethics and English Literature at A- Level and am now studying History at the university of Edinburgh.
