I worked in a primary school for a year teaching and supporting children aged 4-5. During this i planned lessons that would benefit the children the most. Whilst teaching, i am kind, patient, encouraging and supportive. For children to learn effectively, i believe the environment needs to be comfortable and exciting to encourage them to join in and try their best. During my time at a primary school, i learnt all the different ways children can develop through techniques and methods as well as how to include them in my plans. During a lesson, i would include reading, writing, spelling as well as verbal communication. By doing these, it can help see if a child needs more support and in which areas. If a child did need more support, i would communicate this with parents/carers as i would need more lessons and different planning.
