Evan Tarbutton

I am a recording pianist based in London. I like to use a very hands on and practical approach, where you will spend the majority of your time playing and composing music !
I specialise in Jazz, however will deliver lessons tailored to your needs in whatever genre you want to learn and improve in.
The lessons will be casual and fun, focused on encouragement and improvement.
There will always be an opportunity to apply what we have learned by composing our own music. I believe this is an incredibly important skill as it challenges us to be creative and using concepts in our own ways helps us to master them.
I am fully educated in music theory and am in my second year of a music degree and so am able to not only teach you how to play piano, but also how to understand music.
