I have 20+ years of experience teaching English to students preparing for language exams and university admission exams. I use materials specific to IELTS and TOEFL exams, with tests to assess the level and the areas needing improvement. The lessons will focus on addressing both the strong and weaker areas of the student's language knowledge to build up the confidence to succeed.
The students I tutored over the years went on to study and work in the UK, of which one is a trauma doctor, several are nurses and one has their own radio show.
I myself had to sit the IELTS exam when I first came to work in the UK nearly 20 years ago which gave me valuable insights into the format of the exam which later helped me guide many students of different nationalities to success.
I have a bachelor's degree in English and French language and literature, I am a language assessor for the Institute of Linguists Educational Trust and a member of the Society of Authors.
