My lessons are designed for each individual student. This means that, no matter what goals you're working towards, my lesson plans will work with you. In our first lesson, we'll have a chat about your goals and motivations, and this will help shape how we move forwards.

This might mean spending time on technique, fine tuning your approach to bowing or fingering, or playing the latest pop and rock pieces arranged for cello. Whatever level you're at, I'm happy to accomodate. I can provide one-off lessons, or a more regular series to suit your need and avaliability.
I provide lessons both in person and online, through Zoom. Each platform has its own benefits and drawbacks, so don't feel like you have to travel to me, or install fancy technology - whatever is easiest we can make it work.
Lessons might include some of the following:
- Scales
- Technical Exercises
- Listening Activities
- Sight-Reading
- Repertoire
It's important to me that your lessons are personalised to you. I'll never insist on following a particular book, series, or method if it doesn't click with you. Heard something on the radio? Saw something in the theatre? Bring it to me and we can try to work it out.
I believe that music can be enjoyed and created by anyone, no matter their ability or age. Regardless of what you want to work on, my lessons are designed to be one thing above all - fun! Look forward to hearing from you!
