My experiences in the subjects are taken from my own A-level teachers and many online resources that I used to achieve high grades in my own A-levels. The lessons will be online, with the priority being that basic concepts are understood and can be explained back to me in a way that will get marks in the exams. This is why students must look over their textbooks so that they know what is actually being explained, rather than just having words thrown at them which wont benefit anyone. The goal of the lessons is for students to feel confident going into the exams, you can't control what grades you get on the day by worrying about the exams or what you don't know. You can only influence what happens in the exam by your actions outside of them, which is why the lessons will be focused on explaining the content to the students in a way that they can repeat it back to me. Students don't need a teacher to get them to read the book, answer questions or just speak at them, so that wont be taught during my lessons. Students will need to do work in their own time for this to be effective, such as going over concepts, attempting to answer practice questions that may be too difficult for them, which they can then present to me for us to work together to find a way to improve the answer, improve their understanding of a concept. Anyone can read a book, but the key part is the understanding and being able to explain it.
