Hi! I'm Esther and I teach French, Russian and English to all levels and all ages. I have been tutoring for four years and love sharing my passion for languages. Once you let me know what your language-learning goals are, I will plan a set of lessons that are engaging and help you reach these goals!

I like to let you take control of what you learn and how - whether you're a visual learner, an auditory learner or a physical learner, we'll make sure to harness this to your advantage. We will start each lesson with a recap on what we have previously learned, then move on to new content. You'll quickly see how your vocabulary and knowledge builds up.

I have experience tutoring for exams (GCSEs, A Levels) as well as for fun. I draw on my experiences learning languages at university (BA from the University of Oxford and MA from the University of Bath) and living abroad to give an all-rounded approach. I am also keen on spreading cultural awareness during my language lessons, whether that be integrating French social affairs into speaking practice or reading recipes for Russian cuisine. After all, languages stretch far beyond the classroom and the real satisfaction comes when you use your skills in practice!
