I've been tutoring for over four years and with 450+ hours of experience, it's safe to say I'm no stranger to helping students develop academically and as well rounded individuals.

Between graduating in 2020 and starting medical school in 2021, I tutored full time. As such, I have amassed extensive teaching experience and resources. I also worked for a large online revision company reviewing and creating their Biology resources. My role involved ensuring everything produced was of the highest quality and aligned with exam specifications.


I aim to cultivate a supportive and stimulating learning environment for each tutee. One which empowers my students and ignites a love of learning. My general approach is holistic and compassionate. I use a variety of techniques in my sessions, identifying those which suit my student's learning style. This may include using diagrams, analogies, videos, quick fire questions and flow charts. It is important to ensure sessions are tailored to the needs to my student.

I place a strong focus on exam technique and coach students how to formulate answers to hit as many marks as possible. I aim to frame content in a way that reflects exams, highlighting key concepts which commonly crop up in questions. My lessons always involve some form of recall to ensure my students' understanding is rock solid and to aid them committing what we have gone through to memory.

I specialise in A-level Biology tuition. I've lost count of how many students I've supported through their
A-levels there have been so many! All my students last academic year achieved their target grades and were offered places at their top University choice.

I also tutor Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3 and GCSE. I have supported students throughout the 13+ process and during the two years of their GCSEs.
