I previously worked for a company called English First, through them I taught English as a second language to students in China. I worked with this company for almost 4 years.

As I have prior experience teaching online, I am comfortable using positive reinforcement as means to encourage my students. I am aware that some prefer audio-visual tools to help them retain new information and I am not shy about combining the personal interests of the students, with the lesson objectives.
For those that gravitate towards logical or kinesthetics learning, it is always useful to present tasks as challenges and to maintain structured goals throughout the lessons. These tools can help the student to obtain their targets during a set period.

Overall, everyone has their own unique combination of learning styles, and it is my job to determine which techniques are effective. Then to use these styles and/or methods to their advantage.
