I am a English & Sociology graduate who is now undertaking a Master’s degree in International Journalism. I am an aspiring journalist, presenter and author. I am also the founding editor on an online magazine which covers news and publishes articles relating to society, politics, arts and culture.

I want to teach because I have always been an avid learner with a thirst for knowledge, and I enjoy having the opportunity to impart my knowledge onto others, especially fellow young people. I am an enthusiastic teacher, because I genuinely love the process of walking students through topics they struggle with, only for them to leave a session feeling more confident in their studies and ability.

I am a patient and thorough tutor. I take my time to understand my students’ needs and learning style, and to tailor and adapt my style of teaching to each individual student. I take my time to break down words, concepts and academic assessment objectives. As someone with experience in writing , I can communicate effectively.

I tutored students in GCSE English and French whilst I was studying my A-Levels, improving their grades from D’s to A’s/B’s in a matter of a three months.
