Hey! I'm 20 years old and in my second year of university studying for a BA in English Literature. Throughout my educational career, I have honed my skills to become a better writer and reader, whether that be through school or extracurricular, I have always enjoyed developing my enjoyment of English Literature. I have achieved a grade 8 grade 7 in both English Language and Literature at GCSE, a grade A in English Language and Literature at A Level and I am currently at a 2:1 for my degree.
I understand concepts in English are difficult and sometimes too challenging, I also understand the pressure of the classroom does not allow for proper 1-1 help in the subject, leaving you feeling behind compared to your peers or disappointed and insecure in your abilities. I hope to CHANGE this and transform your journey with English. I am confident in my skillset to help you with your English studies, from GCSE to A Level.

I have spent time within schools helping children with their reading and understanding of certain concepts within English Literature, this has allowed me the experience in teaching pupils a subject I am confident in. From these experiences, I can tailor my teaching to fit certain needs that will help you the most in your learning and journey. Whether it be a slower approach to novels and their themes, going through contexts, picking out quotations, developing comprehension skills, or understanding mark schemes and what the question ACTUALLY wants you to respond with, I am extremely sure you will leave lessons having made progress.

I will be making sure sessions are personal, calm and suited to your needs. I favour student-led environments, which is not always possible within a school, therefore I will be massively impacting your studies and pushing you to reach your full potential.
