Teaching is something you inherit from father to son in my family which proves the quality of the courses given. Arabic is my mother tongue and it is an extraordinary language, many people nowadays are interested in learning Arabic for their tourist trips, work and even for fun.
What I want to clarify too is that it is not magic, therefore it cannot be learned overnight, we will be working together to evolve your knowledge: the quality of lessons, flexibility, easy ways to convey the information and motivation will be from my side and the practice, the courage and the desire to learn will be from your side.
That way I will certainly make you a brilliant student on the subject!
Regarding English, as I am a foreigner in this English-speaking country, I can perfectly feel the difficulties that can face those who do not really measure the language and as for the Arab, I am ready to help any age group.
My flexibility and my ability to adapt to all kinds of people are my two strengths and therefore I will be able to better deal with the understanding capacity of my students.
All my efforts will be directed towards finding new methods of teaching correct, easy and fluid lessons. Improve students' knowledge and prepare their session according to their needs and levels of understanding.
I am flexible to meet the students anywhere to be able to help them learn Arabic/English as a second language and I am flexible with the design of the course materials to make it fun and easier for the learners to enjoy their time and be motivated all the time. Giving regular feedback and following up with the students is very important to make sure the students are on the right track and interested in learning the language all the time. Also, listening to the students’ problems and questions is very important to understand their needs and level of understanding which will lead to a better learning experience. I can work in person or online with the learners and I prefer in-person lessons as communication and interaction is very important in learning the language and I would be available online for any inquiries or requests. For online learning, we can arrange sessions using tutorful online features to achieve our goals in the learning process. Also, I can work with the learners to prepare for exams and language certificates by having mock exams and different exercises to make sure that they can pass the exam and get the certificate they need. Finally, conversation sessions are very important as I consider it the secret and the fastest way to learn a new language as an hour of conversation with corrections and feedback is as good as five hours in a classroom and ten hours while learning a language course by yourself. For example, a mere two hours a day for a few weeks using tutorful would make you reach a respectable conversational level to achieve your goals in life. Also, I advise my students to watch TV shows, movies and read newspapers and magazines in different languages which is a good supplementation to practice. For example, I can recommend to watch a couple of movies each week and read an article each day which would be helpful for keeping the learners fresh and curious to learn in order to understand what they missed while watching the movies or reading the newspapers.
Also, I have over 6 years of work experience in customer service, teaching and project management. This experience has given me valuable skills such as patience, anticipating the needs of customers and team members, providing outstanding customer service and the ability to work in multicultural environments with people from different nationalities, backgrounds, and cultures.
I have worked for two years as a research and teaching assistant at the Electronics Department at the American University in Cairo (AUC), Although I was not teaching students Arabic, I have the experience in dealing with the students' needs by monitoring, motivating and influencing them to achieve their academic goals. Also, I assisted the students in courses/labs and senior thesis projects by preparing course/lab material, grading assignments, quizzes and reports and conducting revision and problem sessions. I am Egyptian, so Arabic is my mother tongue language and I am fluent in English as I used to teach English voluntarily to non-English speaking staff in AUC English Literacy program, therefore I can meet your expectations in learning Arabic/English in an easy and fun way.
