As an Aerospace Engineering graduate from the University of Bristol, I know how tough physics and maths can be. Being a lover of all things engineering, my goal with tutees is to not only help them learn maths and physics but enjoy the beauty and fun of the subjects. I have experienced the entire of the new GCSE and A-Level structure, therefore am on hand to help guide students through the intense but rewarding exam processes. I have had over 200 hours of tutoring experience having done this for 4 years. I can also provide relevant insight into the university admissions process. Outside of academics, I am a keen sportsman and in normal times like to spend my weekends playing or watching cricket and football. Naturally, I am also an aircraft and history geek and enjoy the finer points of aircraft model making. My favourite way to destress is to do a big gym workout or make a meal for my family and I always emphasise the importance of activities like these especially during exam periods.

My teaching style incorporates all types of learning, in particular, I find combining diagrams, sticky notes and exam questions a great combination to acing your studies. For me, the key is not simple rote learning but finding a method that suits the learner and allows them to enjoy learning to continue their academic journey. Be it flashcards or a podcast, I aim to find the perfect method, that you may use for the rest of your life. I always recommend my students hammer out past papers when they can as often examiners repeat patterns in questioning. Reading the mark schemes after doing this allows you to hone your exam technique and realise what examiners are looking for.
