I always want my students to enjoy learning. My delivery always simplifies concepts and theories to everyday life and relate to the significance of that learning. The student participation makes the learning a mutual connection. Students can joke and we exchange equally in a mutual manner. I trust all learning should always point at the relevance so that the student is motivated. At the same time I endeavour to encourage your learning with confidence irrespective of your experience and level of confidence. My experience has shown me that everyone can improve provided their mind is tuned to the task and sees the significance of the learning. My students become confident and are comfortable to mutually engage across all issues without the slightest sense of inferiority or being looked down upon.
I also challenge the student to value organisation and initiative so that they can take control of the direction of their learning and development. With the flexibility of blended learning the opportunity to connect reduces the anxiety created by the gap in waiting. A quick catch up will always be available if necessary. With all the ingredients in place to learn comfortably and feeling respect, there is always a very good chance to enjoy and do well as a learner.
